                             RESOLUTION NO.   20385 
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
                 GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR THE STATE OF TENNESSEE TO
                 GRANT AN EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA FOR
                 THE REALIGNMENT AND WIDENING OF HOUSTON STREET
                 FROM EIGHTH STREET TO McCALLIE AVENUE, SUBJECT
                 TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute a Grant of Easement whereby the State of Tennessee 
will
       grant an easement to the City of Chattanooga for the realignment
       and widening of Houston Street from Eighth Street to McCallie
       Avenue, subject to the City agreeing to landscape the unused
       portion of the existing right-of-way.
